Warner counts $6.6 million against their cap, Leinart $2.2. The money says you play Warner. The Redskins pay $3 mil a year for Collins to back up. So the money is not the issue.
They owe it to their fans to play the best one. Just because someone is drafted high does not mean you get the spot. Too many fans confuse the two. Take that out of the equation and decide.

When you draft a QB that high, you expect him to be a starter by the 3rd season(unless you play behind Favre). If he can't beat out Warner they need to admit they made a mistake and start looking for another QB to come in and groom.

Warner is beating out Leinart because they Wisenhunt keeps playing a 2 QB system. Get rid of Warner and force Leinart to step up!

Before last year they werent even paying Collins that. Warner is better so play him. Matt Threw 3 interceptions in one preseason game i dont think the Skins have thrown but one in 4 games.

I don't think coaches care how much a backup makes honestly. I think the GM cares more. Coaches need to win now in the NFL. Alex Smith is making $10 mil to sit on the bench.

Wisenhunt deserves the chance to coach his team. And it looks like he's being allowed to make the calls in Arizona. Maybe the Cards finally have a chance under Wisenhunt.

The Cards need to draw the line in the sand and say, "This is Matt's team", in the same way the Bengals did with Carson Palmer. These teams are stupid for not only pressuring these guys to learn the playbook, but also having someone breathe down their necks.

The Cards went 8-8 last year. If they take a step back that won't be good. I won't say they need to "win now", but the NFC West is wide open. Every year people get on that fast moving train to Arizona and are let down. If they can somehow slip into the playoffs that would be great for that organization.

Did you see the numbers he put up? Next time let someone with more knowledge read your post before you submit.

It definitely has to be Warner. He proved last year that he can still play and can help the team win. They play in a weak division and if he makes it the entire year they could make the playoffs.
