Broken nose may sideline Palmer

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has a broken nose and might not play in the last preseason game Thursday night at Indianapolis. Palmer, who sustained a bloody nose and cut lip Saturday night when sacked in the loss to New Orleans, had a procedure done to align a cracked bone in his nose and would be listed as questionable for the Colts. Look for Ryan Fitzpatrick to start at quarterback. Coach Marvin Lewis said Palmer will not even be listed on the injury report for the regular-season opener Sept. 7 at Baltimore. In other words, Palmer will start against the Ravens.

We will be lucky to go 4 - 12 this year. As a Bengals fan, it pains me to say that, but it's true. 3 first half sacks on Palmer and O-Line was supposed to be a strength ofours...

the o-line is becoming an issue. willy is getting old, levi has forgotten how to play, constant losses in free agency, spotty draft picks. whitworth aint the answer. and we need a center.

lol pw you named four players - thats 80% of the O-line!

I spared Williams but frankly he's not young anymore either. Big willy still might have another full season left. Stacy Andrews will help. Levi Jones might return from the Twilight Zone someday. How a guy can be a veteran Pro-bowl player and forget how to play his position for a season and half is beyond my comprehension. Whitworth needs kicked in the butt until his head becomes unstuck.

Ghiaciuc and the Offensive Line Coach need to be canned. Viable youth plus depth needs to be drafted. The Bengals O-Line is slowly breaking down. Come 2009, it's going to be one of their biggest problems.

What's the latest on Ocho-Schmucko?

"What's the latest on Ocho-Schmucko?"

Chad just sent a banjo to Plaxico. Something to keep his goat whiskers occupied while Plaxico waits on that new contract.

Starting QBs dont play much in that last preseason game anyways. Maybe his new nose will keep his interception total down this year.

 something to that effect worked for Ben last year..

This is not a picture of your starting QB that you like to see.. The Saint's DLine is looking pretty good and our OLine is starting to look bad. Hopefully we can teach the Big 5 how to block by Sept. 7th or it's gonna be a long year.

Karma for taking back Chris Henry. Bengals fans, I will tell you what I told Knicks fans: if you want a championship, the first step is to put a couple of bullets into the brain of the owner. Without new ownership, YOU ARE DONE.
