Youk is having a good year but not MVP quality............

right now Q is the MVP if the season ended today.....but hey im a White Sox fan so maybe a little bias :)~

Hamilton may get it simply cause the media has a hardon for him, but without him, they have Kinsler and Bradley. Could easily argue either one of those are MORE valuable than Hamilton for Texas, but in any event, if all 3 could be considered, one can rule all of them out cause MVP of the AL should, at first, be far and away MVP of their own team and none of the 3 are far and away more valuable to the Rangers than the other two.

Q if the White Sox make the playoffs, probably deserves it but, if the Twins make it, it's gotta be Morneau. No one is more valuable to the Twins success than him. As he goes, so does the team.

If bot hteam make it, I don't know. Twins were expected to finish lower in the standings, so they'd be more of a surprise...

there something to be said for modesty. I think he is a great team player, he hits when needed. He is a classy guy, could you imagine Arod saying that, no way no how, but that's Kevin.

I am a Yanks fan but I love Youks.

He is an honest, hard-working buzz-saw that plays hard every inning. He is a very good clutch player and clubhouse guy as well.

Yankees fans hate Youk, but they forget that they used to have their own beloved version of Youk ... his name was Paul O'Neill. Scrappy, hard working, animated. Anyone else remember how many times O'Neill slammed batting helmets around and had tantrums? He was also a heck of a ballplayer. Bottom line is, Youk plays hard every single play and that gets on the nerves of some people. I don't like the Yanks, but I respect the heck out of Derek Jeter because he plays that way. Some clueless Yankee fans don't recognize talent or hard work unless it's in the Bronx.
