Woman says Jaguar behind assault
A pregnant woman has sued Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Dennis Northcutt, saying he arranged for his cousin to beat her up. Sharri Henry, who claims to be four months pregnant with Northcutt's baby, filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. She accuses Northcutt, a nine-year NFL veteran, of trying to harm her unborn child and permanently disfigure her face May 17 at a Hollywood restaurant.

I'm not saying this didn't happen, but why is she suing him and not pressing charges? Lock him up if he had someone beat you up. Don't try to get a quick $2 million or something..

What's curious to me is that she's suing the NFL player for allegedly arranging it, but the alleged perpetrator is not named in the suit. Smells fishy to me.

I just got a flashback of what Rae Carruth did..I'm going to wait to hear something more about this before commenting any further..If he did "arrange" this, why she didn't press charges against him. I think it would help her "lawsuit" in the long run..What foolishness....

Didn't Vick have his cousins running things at the kennel?
When are these NFL guys going to learn to stop tapping their families when they have "wet work" to be done?
Hire pros! They cost more, for sure, but you have confidence that when the Mob sends a mechanic to slap someone around they stay slapped!

"The cousin is not named in the lawsuit that seeks compensatory and punitive damages."
That makes NO sense. This does not pass the smell test.
I can jump on someone as quick as anybody, but not this time. This looks like a money grab.

when two people are involved in an asault. you don't sue the poor one. they would be equally calpable under the law. (if they are guilty)

But why would you sue for the assualt before you press charges for the assault. So you would rather take money from your future babies daddy then put him in jail? I guess that makes sense, he can't pay you if your in jail.
Dudes need to start protecting their d- - k like Peyton Mannings line protects him. 20 minutes of huffing and puffing can lead to a lifetime of misery, disease and payments.

this sounds kinda fishy to me....call the cops and lock him up ...why would you sue a guy for a criminal act and not prosecute him?..this could be a jilted lover situation...
