I guess they are going to give him a lesson in Humility by making him drive the Losermobile. This will be the test to see if he can hold his composure when he is in Garbage equipment.

I like Ken Schrader, he will drive anything that has wheels. Maybe he will mentor this young kid and help him learn how to act on and off the track!

Ohio, you are right....Kenny is a class act but as for mentoring Logano I don't see the kid being receptive to an "old timer". Besides it is only for 7 races...you can't accomplish much in that time.

Ken Schrader is a true racer.
Your right Ohio#88, I don't think he cares if the car is the fastest or not, he just wants to race. He gets in the car, does the best he can, and enjoys the fact that he is there.
Maybe he has more respect and gratitude for having a ride then he has driving skills but I always pull for the guy, Kind of feel the same way for Herman.

I am glad to see Schrader back in a few more races.
Logano will do what Logano will do. I agree he won't be that receptive to an old timer.

I like you Joey, you sort of remind of Joey Romone you both have that dorky dreamy look. Actually I can see you singing 'Blitzkrieg Bop' & '**** took my baby away' in my dreams, oh your soooo dreamy Joey.

Kenny S is one of my favorite drivers. It's ingrained in my head forever when he walked up to the crashed #3...watching his reaction, you just KNEW it wasn't good. The guy is a racer through and through and like Float said..strap him in something with 4wheels and let him go! I think Joey's talent will shine on the 96. Pretty much tells you the 96 and 11/18/20 are joined at the hip, huh? Probably use it as a test session for car/driver when Joey's piloting it for engine setups,etc......(without the shims) lol

88Fan, are you trying to start a new rumor?
Whenever Kenny S is trying to qualify, I root for him, and Herman as well.

Schrader knows how to DRIVE and stay out of trouble. LOL..not me Float! Any bets in Vegas as to which driver posts the best finishes behind the wheel of the the 96? You got Mayfield, Logano and Scrhader!!! I'm betting Kenny in the 25-32 position and Logano in the 19-30 slots. Mayfield will be 43, 42, 39 and a couple of 30-35 finishes before going back to his tractor and farm..

In stead of finishing position, lets bet on who will return the car to the pit area with minimum damage.
Garage not pit, I've got motocross on the brain today, my boys are racing this weekend. LL

Think it's an EGO blow to Lagona that they are making him split time with Mr. S ?

The reason he is splitting time is realy simple. Joey can't run more than 7 races this season. If he does he loses his rookie status for next year.
As for the junk equipment comment. That's the funny thing about HOF Racing. They are running all Gibbs equipment. I'm sure the equipment the Gibbs guys are getting is the top level stuff and HOF gets the left overs, but I don't think the left overs are that far off. I think HOF's management is the problem not the equipment. With a future Gibbs driver driving in the 96 expect the equipment to improve and the performance to improve. The top 35 in owner points may be out of reach, but HOF will get better. Heck, the way Mikey is running and Blaney's having bad luck, we might see the 96 in the Shootout.
