One game is more than enough. This guy does not even make the top 200 for bad guys in the NFL.

I agree with you 50yearfan, 1 game is enough. The guy hasn't gotten into any kind of trouble that I can remember.

Hey Hank, welcome back from Korea.
Well, as Baretta once said, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time". Faulk broke the rule and now he must pay.

I guess Welker catches in 20 passes in week 1 instead of 12 now. I am sure they will survive.

Thanks, I came back not needing a shot of penicillin, so that's good :)

If not for them playing the weakest schedule in the nfl this year , the pats would look anything but "super" The lowly jets might even give them a loss .

The cameras have been confiscated and brady emasculated The dynasty is done,

I agree, minor incident. Wasn't he also arrested for possession at a music concert?

August 30, 2008  11:17 AM ET

I agree with everyone who thinks 1 game suspension is enough. I mean, in my town, marijuana possession is against the law and results in jail time 100% of the time. I think giving him a day off of work will get the point across to the youth of america. Drugs are illegal, unless you're a celebrity, then it's ok.

August 30, 2008  11:25 AM ET

Gee Mental Ray, maybe it's time you moved. Automatic jail time for marijuana possession? No probation? The one day suspension is coming from the NFL. Don't know what the State of Louisiana is going to give him, do you?

Kevin,

Put that funny-looking cigarette and quit eating my cookies. It's almost time for supper.

What about Marshawn Lynch hitting a women with a car? Or Tatupu with a DUI?

August 30, 2008  12:53 PM ET

Or Kaczur with a stash of legal drugs without a prescription or Matt Jones. Please only report when it is a final decision.

If Kraft is as good a bud with Goodell as it seems Faulk will get nothing as the NFL is still working off the fines and draft pick that Kraft lost.

August 30, 2008  01:10 PM ET

Wait wait wait...the NFL MAY?? Suspend him?

What happened to the "tough" Goodell?

Ohhhh...its a Patriot who broke the rules...which can't happen. So...now Goodell will make up some BS story about how Kevin Faulk is different than other law and rule violators...because he is just such a wonderful guy.

BS BS BS

If Kevin Faulk was a Raider....or an Eagle...or a Lion...he would be suspended. No ifs ands mays buts or BS like that.

The game suspension is actually for going to a Lil Wayne concert.

Wow, a Hatriot involved in illegal activities? I wonder what Coach Bellicheat will think?
