As shocking as it sounds rumors have surfaced again that Randy Couture could possibly fighter Fedor Emelianenko in the UFC's Octagon in early 2009. Sources close to MMAJunkie.com confirmed that the fight is being talked about. It was reported late this week that Randy Couture and the UFC are talking again about a possible return to action in November against newcomer Brock Lesnar and now plans are already being put forth for his second fight if is he is to return.

I'm not sure Couture can beat Lesnar, I think that's why Dana agreed to co-promote the Couture-Fedor fight. Dana knows if Couture loses no one will be interested in the fight.

I have to agree with scott, Lesnar isn't ready for Couture. Randy is on another level, even for his age, and Lesnar needs some more warm-up matches to help his issues with really finishing a match.

Although Couture is the better, more experienced fighter, he would need to be worried about Lesnar, just like all heavyweights would need to be. Lesnar's size, strength, and speed could allow him to beat nearly anyone. All it takes is one punch.

Finaly Couture has come back the the cadge! Randy is GREAT and can beat any humen on the planet! But I don't think that Fedor is humen. I love Randy HUGE team Quest guy and now Extream Coture fan. And I don't think Lesner can out fight Randy in just his therd fight in the UFC. Realy doesn't belong in there with him!

Seriously though I love Randy but every day that goes by makes him a bigger underdog the guy is really getting up their in age. I wish him the best though and will always root for him.
