Though Wayne Huizenga has spoken of passing Dolphins managing control to co-owner Stephen Ross in ''three, four years,'' several Huizenga associates expect it much sooner, as early as after this season.

Find a way to save face and then leave, but do it quickly.

I bet his office is already cleared out.lol

It's hard to believe the Dolphins were once football's elite. It's like seeing a once millionaire living in a cardboard box drinking cheap wine from a bottle in a paper bag telling stories about the good old days. All of the teams have good years and bad years bust geez, the Dolphins haven't seen good since...hmmm. It's even sadder to see a team try to rebuild from castoffs from another team. Parcells will be in the HOF, but he's a dinosaur. His vision of football is archaic and won't do a thing for the Fins.

Spam.....Looks like from the picture you could play 72 holes of golf on Wayne's face! It must be a drag as an owner to know your season is over before you even start.

I am glad about this decision. Ever since he has owned this team he has done nothing but destroy it. He has destroyed every team he has owned. So it is typical he would destroy the Dolphins too. He got loser coaches, like JJ, Wanny, Nicky, and Cammy, and now FINALLY got some REAL football people in the helm, but now they have to clean up these coaches messes. I am glad he is selling the team. Maybe FINALLY Miami can get a REAL owner in there that cares about the team, AND about WINNING. He was more concerned about coaches being his golf buddies than head coaches. Why would he allow a loser like JJ to pick the next head coach after losing a playoff game 62-7 and announcing to your team you are quitting before the game even started?? Only a LOSER would do something like that. If a coach handed my team a loss like that, he would be fired before the game ended. But he let JJ pick his little right hand golf caddy to take over the team??? Wayne H does not know how to run a franchise, admitted he knows nothing about football. INstead he would rather run the fans off by charging outrageous ticket prices and hiring BS coaches who have done nothing but ruin the team..Yeah..classy guy. Good Riddens. Dont let the door hit you in the arse when you leave. Tell Jimmy, Cammy, Wanny, and Nicky we all said thanks for the losing seasons when you guys play your next round of golf, or your next dining date together.

You obviously know NOTHING about football. That old dinosaur you are talking about just built a SB calibur team in Dallas. Do you think that was Wade Phillips doing?? Jerry Jones??? NO. How do you know he will not do good in Miami?? Are you a psychic?? No. He has rebuilt MANY teams. Look at the Cowboys and if they win the SB this year, or atleast go to one, it will be because of what Bill has built there. Go ahead and talk your crap. As that is all your words are anyway...

Turtle-head man.

The guy has been a total disaster as an owner in the the NFL and MLB. Miami might not be a great sports town, but at least it had an interesting football team. I always got the feeling Huzienga didn't even like sports, just saw an opportunity to make money. Good riddance.

When Don Shula was the Coach The Dolphins were an Elite Team.Mr Waste Management let him go and brought in horrible coaches.JJ was lucky in Dallas with his picks, but was way off with Miamis Drafts.Wannsteadt was a Joke I remember one game he rushed Ricky 42 times against The Bills, when he retired abruptly didnt even tell Mr I cant shave my moustache correctly that he was quitting.I have been a Fins fan for 40 years, people always talk about replacing Marino who was amazing but its really been about replacing SHULA who averaged 10 victories every year during his 25 year tenure.I think with Parcells and the new players they are heading in the right direction, and as far as the Owner he cant leave soon enough....
