NFL warned Vikings of suspension

It turns out that the Vikings had a couple of weeks' notice to prepare for the suspension of starting offensive left tackle Bryant McKinnie. The team was quietly informed by the NFL of the four-week suspension two weeks before it was announced Friday and was notified a week before the announcement that it had lost an appeal. What especially hurts is that the Vikings believed McKinnie had the best training camp of his eight-year career.

Well, at least he'll be healthy at home.

There's a reason they don't sell McKinnie jerseys. If you're interested in seeing how they live at the bottom of the barrel, check out the footage at yahoo...

Everyone knew two months ago he was going to be suspended for awhile..I assume they planned for it. If not, then they were negligent..

This has a huge impact, their first four games are against teams with great pass rushers - KGB, Freeney, Peppers, etc.

i dont get why he gets 4 games for hitting a bouncer on the head and someone like Brandon Marshall gets his 4 games reduced to 1 when he hit his g/f and has more off field issues than McKinnie

What a load of crap. I think this decision should be reconsidered!!!!

I own a McKinnie jersey!!! It fits rather well around my 54 inch girth!!

I agree about the Marshall incident, but this is not the first time Mckiniie got into a fight at a night club. Also the whole hookers on the boat thing kinda hurts

I thought this was far...until I saw the marshall suspension. They both should have gotten four or both should have gotten 1. Similar incidents. ANd I'm a viking fan too
