NCAA clears Kansas freshmen

Kansas freshmen basketball players Marcus and Markieff Morris have been cleared by the NCAA clearinghouse and will be eligible to play for the Jayhawks this fall, KU coach Bill Self announced in a statement on Thursday. Marcus and Markieff Morris, twins from Philadelphia, spent last year in prep school at Apex Academies in Pennsauken, N.J., trying to get qualified. KU associate athletics director for external relations Jim Marchiony said the Morris twins will be in class on Friday. KU will now have its full allotment of players available, including seven newcomers from a class that Rivals.com ranked No. 2 in the country. The Jayhawks had to play without the Morris twins in their Canadian exhibition last weekend, which saw them narrowly beat two teams and romp a third. The next question is how Self will choose to discipline Markieff Morris, who has been charged with battery after being accused of shooting a woman with an airsoft BB gun from a window in Jayhawker Towers. Morris has a Dec. 12 court date, and Self has said that Morris will be punished.

Chalk up another 25 win season for KU, even after losing 5 guys to the draft!

Kids like this are poison....get rid of them KU...don't let your program become a joke like so many others. You guys have been doing it right with good kids for years.

This article meant to say that they were cleared to start smoking pot ant having women in their dorm rooms against regulations like the rest of the Kansas team is used to.

So they are both stupid and at least on already has the beginning of a record before stepping foot in Lawrence. This probably will not end well for KU. I just hope it doens't tarnish the program too much.

Big Identical Dummies.

A sixth grade diploma has got to be worth something. Of course they will admit them. Who would not want a kid who " processes" differently and shoots BB guns out of windows at women and their twin brother?
