Bears left guard Terrence Metcalf was in no mood to discuss the team's acquisition of veteran guard Dan Buenning. "I ain't in administration,'' Metcalf said Thursday. "Whatever they do, that's their decision. It doesn't have anything to do with me or reflect [on] me.'' Any frustration Metcalf might have probably has more to do with getting set back by minor knee surgery. He was running with the first team before the procedure, performed during training camp. Now Josh Beekman is the starter at left guard heading into Sunday's season opener at Indianapolis. Buenning has to learn the system before becoming a contributor.

Zip it Metcalf. You can't even stay healthy enough to beat out a guy who was on the practice squad last year. You're a backup - enjoy your paycheck, and since you're on the Bears I'm sure there will be plenty of injuries to get you PT.

It was all about "This and that!!!" So, don't just sit there pondering on what this and that is or what it is about to be.
