This would definetley be a smart move for the Titans. They can add depth and Brown is not a bad DE

June 14, 2007  08:53 AM ET

I'd love to pick up Brown to go along with Kyle Van Den Bosch. He would definitely solidify our D-Line, but also help out our CB's tremendously.

June 14, 2007  09:29 AM ET

Alex Brown is a pretty good player.

June 14, 2007  09:43 AM ET

Niners. Niners. NINERS. Coooooome to the niiiiiiiners.

<swings pocket watch back and fortch>

You're getting very sleepy. Goooood. Now repeat after me: I want to be a 49er, I want to be a 49er...

June 14, 2007  10:28 AM ET

WE WILL LOVE TO HAVE ALEX BROWN IN MUSIC CITY!!! KYLEVANDEN BOSCH IN ONE SIDE AND ALEX BROWN IN THE OTHER ..WOW SOUNDS GOOD TO ME, ALSO OUR SECONDARY IS PREETY GOOD THIS YEAR EVEN WITH OUT PACMAN. LOOK OUT, THIS SHOULD BE AN INTERESTING YEAR FOR THE YOUNG TITANS.. :)

June 14, 2007  10:46 AM ET

You guys can have him he only has one good game every month or so, he is overrated and he is not even a starter for us anymore.

June 14, 2007  10:51 AM ET

I agree that he's a good player & you sometimes have to let good players go, but he's just a wanna be, he's a good player, but I'd rather have a Charles Grant, Will Smith, J. Pepper, J. Taylor, D. Freeny, than just a Alex Brown. Now he's upset that he lost his starting spot. He wants to be a follower, trying to run with Briggs. New Flash, he isn't the quality player Briggs is. He's a solid starter, if that's all you got, but you'll never see the Franchise Tag on him ever. I hope for the best in his carrer, but he'll never be with a team that did better than the Bears on Defense. And to all you people out there in chat land. I don't give a flying **** what ya'll gotta say, so don't even waste ya time. New Orleans Saints on they way to Arizona. And yeah I know we played awful agaisnt the Bears in the Championship game, & no I'm not one of the ones who blames it on the snow. I really think it was coaching, we should've ran the ball more. After Reggie's Touchdown, we were back in there. But we didn't play like it. Bad game, we'll bounce back ya heard me

June 14, 2007  10:53 AM ET

See there a Bears fan doesn't care if he goes away, since ya'll want other teams players sooo much. Why don't you guys take all our weak links too. Fred Thomas & Mike McKenzie.

June 14, 2007  10:57 AM ET

And to CubbieBear21, nice job with you guys moving Hester to Offense. Can't wait till our rematch at the end of the season. Think about it. HESTER vs. BUSH. I hope it's us in the NFC Championship game this year again. I'll be cheering for you guys. I just hope we win more games, cause I don't want us playing in that damn snow again. Let's take it to the Dome. You see what we did to Atlanta & Vick in there. Destroy.

June 14, 2007  11:07 AM ET

New Orleans isn't going to be as good as last year, they won't make the NFC championship. And don't compare the Bears to Atlanta, the Bears will beat up on the saints anywhere anytime.

And Alex Brown is a damn good DE, I'd be sad to see him go.

June 14, 2007  11:33 AM ET

I'd love to see Brown with the Jets. And by the way, the NFC is weak...REALLY WEAK if the Bears go back to the Super Bowl with Rexy at the helm. The balance of power is so much in favor of the AFC it's not even funny. I mean really, Rex Grossman brought a team to the Super Bowl...Rex Grossman.

June 14, 2007  11:50 AM ET

The NFC's slowly getting there. Niners, Rams, Bucs, and Saints are all improving, and while the Giants and Falcons are in a downward spiral, Philly, Dallas, and Seattle are all still solid.

June 14, 2007  12:01 PM ET

OK lets back up a minute.....the Bears are not going to give the Titans, Alex Brown for free! What are the Titans giving up for Brown?? You guys have any good running backs, or a QB?

And for the Saint fans above who think you are going to AZ this year....wake up!!!! The NFC is WEAK, the Saints are not going anywhere, they are a good team but not that good. Let the season start or at least training camp, before you put your team in the Super Bowl!!!

June 14, 2007  12:23 PM ET

BEARS FAN IF I HAD MY CHOICE THE BEARS CAN KEEP, C.BROWN, K.COLLINS, HELL KEEP LENWHALE WHITE FOR ALL I CARE.. I KNOW YOU ARE WORRIED CAUSE YOUR QB IS GARBAGE AND MEDIOCRE. BUT I BET YOU WISH THE BEARS COULD HAVE A TALENT QB LIKE VINCE.. I THOUGH SO!!

June 14, 2007  12:23 PM ET

I think the Saints will improve defensively over last year. It will be difficult to match what they did on offense last year but they aren't in the greatest conference in the world either. The Bucs have SO many questions at the O-line, receiver and QB. Although I think that Garcia will be an improvement. The Falcons are....well.....the Falcons. New offense under Petrino will require Vick to make quick reads and deliver 10-15 yard passes with touch/accuracy...something he is poor at and always has been. The Panthers are the toughest foe and it could go to either of them for the NFC South crown. However, if you think the Bears will be in the NFC Championship game you need to just put the pipe down and step back please.

June 14, 2007  12:34 PM ET

Eric you are right the Panthers are good, but read what I wrote...I didnt put the Bears back in the Super Bowl...I said let the season or atleast training camp start before we pick a super bowl match-up....

TN_FAN - Vince is good I will give you that.....I just want to know who the Bears get for a "good" lineman like Brown. I think Brown is a "good" player and needs to shut up and play better instead of bit$%ing about starting. How about being a team player and earning your playing time.

June 14, 2007  12:40 PM ET

I think they package a deal. One or two reserves (which is the role Brown plays for the Bears) and maybe a 3rd round pick. Problem is that the Titans NEED a decent DE to go with Bosch. Laboy isn't the answer that is for sure.

And I didn't say you put them in the SB. I don't think they will make the NFC Championship game though. Rex needs to play WAY more consistent and now we see how Benson handles the full load. That is alot to ask from a team when you require two key offensive positions to make substantial improvements.

June 14, 2007  12:42 PM ET

HUGE mistake by the Bears!!! Brown has been on the field more than oft-injured, overpaid, softter than a wet chicken noodle Ogunleye over the past 2 years. And to replace him with an unproven 1 year wonder who will cause you to break the bank in 4 years to keep him is compunding the issue!!!!!!!!

June 14, 2007  12:57 PM ET

Hey ****, what did Brown do last year? Anything? Anderson is young and hungry, he is doing his talking on the field. Brown needs to shut up and play, maybe make a few sacks! The Bears need their D line to be 100% and deep...they open the season in SD....

June 14, 2007  01:08 PM ET

I think SEATTLE should go after Brown to team up with P.Kerney to rip offenses apart....
