Bills getting Pro Bowler back
Cooler heads finally prevailed in the confounding Jason Peters affair. The Buffalo Bills' Pro Bowl left tackle informed the organization Friday that he will report for work today and end a 43-day holdout. Peters will not be in uniform for Sunday's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. However, his return eliminates the biggest cloud that has been hanging over the organization all summer. "It is our understanding that Jason has filed a reinstatement letter with the National Football League and that he is reporting to One Bills Drive tomorrow morning," said Russ Brandon, Bills chief operating officer, in a statement.

Just in time to start collecting season game checks...What a guy.

Since he cannot play in the first game anyways, I would try to get the league to not act on it until Monday....Let him miss a $100,000...Fair is fair.

The guys contract calls for 4.5 million this year. A game check to him is about 250 thousand...Now that would be justice.

Peters ending holdout is great news for those who have Marshawn Lynch on their fantasy team. Oh yeah... and for Bills fans too.

Nice job Buffalo. A very Rooney-like way of handling this situation. Buffalo is certainly interested in renegotiating/extending his contract, but refusing to negotiate until he shows up at camp sends a strong message to all players. I bet Peters is feeling very embarrassed right now.

Funny how even the thought of losing one "little" game check, brings most of the holdouts back to work..

It???s about time. Not sure who is at fault for the lack of communication this summer. But, the Bills need to step up and pay the man. He is a pro bowl tackle and he is a big piece of the Bills puzzle. They need him to have a shot at making the playoffs..

He has a $4.5M contract and finds a reason not to show up for training camp or pre-season games?
Wait til he is hurt and sitting home, watching his team on TV, and he is collecting disability. These guys are one step away from the poorhouse when they act like this and I wish the teams would stand up to them.
I guess he couldn't feed his family?
"The Bills need to step up and pay the man." Exactly what for? Something he already got paid for...what am I missing here?
