Northside-Warner Robins linebacker Eric Fields, an AJC Super 11 selection, has backed off his commitment to Clemson and is now considering Georgia, according to published reports. It would be huge for Georgia if it was able to sway Fields, who is ranked as the nation's No. 10 outside linebacker by Rivals and is a member of the AJC's Super Southern 100.

Fields won't be the only recruit rethinking his committment to the Tigers. Looks like that Bama lost was more damaging than just the record.

Good move on his part if he can stay healthy. Injuries are killing Georgia this year so far, but that is just bad luck as they say.

Still probably going to Clemson...Georgia has only an outside chance of getting this kid.

Tommy Bowden is an idiot. I'm a diehard Clemson fan but it's time for him to go. I look and see what people like Skip Holtz is doing at East Carolina and then I look at the ttalent CLemson has.......How long must this go on? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Plus..............This mutha fukka calls the coach that just whips your **** on national TV for advice? Is this guy related to George W. Bush?

Hope he goes to UGA....Fields will be getting a lot of attention anyway, he's a beast. By the way, Northside dominated Booker T. Washington HS out of Miami last night, 31-7.

Thanks SEC_PAC_FAN for sharing your ultimate knowledge in this matter, we all know you have a direct line to Eric and he tells you his every move. The article says he HAS backed off of his commitment and IS leaning towards UGA.

The Bama game just goes to show you how bad of a coach Tommy B. is. With the talent he had last year, and the previous two years, he should at least have one ACC championship to show for it, but he doesn't. The Tigers are picked to win the ACC this year, a year that the ACC is down when compared to the other conf. around the nation. However, I'll bet Tommy will find some way to blow this year also. Tommy is a joke for a coach. With his team getting their butts handed to them by Bama, he is squatting down looking at the ground on the sidelines while his players look shell shocked. Any real coach would have been in their face trying to get them pumped up and back out there to turn the game around, but no he just stares at the ground and hangs his head. Then to top it off, he calls not only several other coaches to find out what he did wrong, but also the coach that just beat you brains out. What a fool!!!!! I bet all of those other coaches laughed their ***** off at him and Clemson for that one. What kind of coach does that when all you have to do is look at the film and see that you were out played and most importantly, out coached. Wake up Clemson, FIRE Tommy and hire a coach that will motivate the talent that you have and not make you look like a fool. It's time for the Bowden Era to end once and for all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
