Maple Leafs-Sundin talks fizzle

The Toronto Maple Leafs management didn't come armed with any surprises when it met with former captain Mats Sundin on Friday. General manager Cliff Fletcher had a face-to-face discussion with Sundin and his representatives but didn't offer the 37-year-old any new reasons to come back and sign with the team. "It was a nice meeting but what was said wasn't anything that hasn't been said before," said Sundin. He was back in the city to take part in a charity hockey game along with other NHLers and celebrities in support of Right To Play.

I think he's too far on the downside of his career to play for the Leafs, A better fit with the Rangers.

Even Mats says there is nothing new to be said!!! Why do you keeping running with it T&R!!?? Also in news today, Eisenhower's corpse still not sure he'll raise from the dead or not, the medical community still pondering if heart attacks are as serious as they seem, and the Catholic Church still waiting for Tom Cruise to visit the Pope and pray with him.

Sometimes if I have to sneeze, looking at a bright light will help.

santapig

He was until he saw this article and decided it would be best if he hid out some more.

And BTW, the Catholic Church is still waiting for Tom Cruise to come to Rome so they can burn him at the stake. But he won't burn, he'll just melt into a gazillion little particles that will be absorbed into the earth and then re-form one day as a tiny midget.......so it is written in the Bettman Chronicles.

Sometimes if I try too hard to remember something I can't recall I find not thinking about it allows it to rattle around and finally come to me when I least expect it.
