Ronaldo bid doesn't worry Man U.

Manchester United chief executive David Gill is not concerned with local rivals Manchester City's recent takeover, nor their potential bid for Cristiano Ronaldo. With the dust finally settled on Real Madrid's pursuit of Ronaldo - at least for the next few months - another club has crept out of the woodwork with an audacious mention of a move for the Portuguese ace and, as if the very notion wasn't ridiculous enough in itself, it's Manchester City.

anyway, as giggs said, a big 5 has emerged

Cristiano Ronaldo has been pounding too many beers lately!

September 8, 2008  11:46 AM ET

I think they do this on purpose to make themselves (fannation) look stupid because as many of you know by watching the VMIs and other programs, dumb is cool! They've dont this so often and fixed it, this has to be on purpose--premeditated ignorance!

September 8, 2008  01:20 PM ET

every other time they get the wrong ronaldo....

September 8, 2008  03:37 PM ET

They got it righ, you just have to look closer. C Ronaldo is the guy making the tackle on Fat Ronaldo. You can see Fat Ronaldo lightly nudging him on the ribs and CRonaldo flailing to the ground like a newly born deer. This is from his days at Sporting, when he was CR23.
