MLS to enter Copa Libertadores?

Our crack MLSR tech staff has uncovered the following domain name was registered and is currently held and maintained by MLS through next year: LIGALIBERTADORES.COM. We also wonder if the recent talk about MLS going to an Apertura/Clausura type schedule may be not only a move to deal with present-day scheduling conflicts but to bring the league in harmony with the schedules of most leagues south of the border which compete in the Libertadores?

Who cares if mls teams get accepted? There's no way they will survive 2 games against South American teams like velez la u santos flamenco and others. It would just take away from the excitement of the libertadores to include low level mls teams. Mls highly overrated half the players are second D Europeans anyway these teams won't last in the copa.
