McGahee losing carries

In the Ravens' new running scheme, the joke could end up being on Willis McGahee. Criticized for not showing enough commitment to the Ravens, McGahee might have to learn about the concept of "team" the hard way - as in, a running-back-by-committee situation. From all indications, it seems as if McGahee, the Ravens' featured back last season, will have to split time with two upstarts, Ray Rice and Le'Ron McClain. McGahee is expected to make his first appearance against the Houston Texans on Monday after missing the entire preseason with a knee injury. He said he could handle his usual 20 to 25 carries. A "full workload" doesn't appear to be in the Ravens' game plan. It's uncertain whether McGahee will even start.

Can't say I blame Coach Harbaugh for rewarding those who wish to play.Obviously McGahee doesn't think he needs to be properly conditioned to play in the NFL and he may have to learn the hard way.If I'm not mistaken he had that knock on him in Buffalo.Eventually he'll find out that the window for stardom in but a small one in the NFL and if you don't crawl through when it's available your spot will be given to someone else.

Whatever is best for the team, McGahee will be happy to do. Anybody that saw that Patriots-Ravens game last year when they almost pulled the upset knows how awesome and explosive Willis can be when totally healthy.

First I lose Brady and Colsten and now McGahee's splitting carries. My fantasy team is in trouble!

McGahee has turned into the same player he was in Buffalo after 1 good season season for the Ravens.Ignoring OTAs and hanging out in Florida all offseason. The McGahee for Trent Edwards trade is looking better each week for the Bills

Upcoming Headline to say, "Ravens losing games!"

McGahee is the same selfish , me first , non team oriented player he was in Buffalo . He plays hard only IF he feels like it . Too often he doesn't feel like it .

lol. basing your depth chart off 1 game vs the bengals porous running defense has been the ruin of many coaches over the past decade. just because you can run everyone against 1 team, doesn't mean you can run everyone against all teams. welcome to the NFL rookie head coach, start your starter, if you want to keep your job.

All I gotta say is......... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And people said the Bills got the bad end of the trade. We ended up with a better running back in Lynch and a better quarterback... and the Ravens downgraded from Jamal Lewis to this scrub.
