Ozzie has plans for Crede
Manager Ozzie Guillen would like Joe Crede to stay with the White Sox, even if a second opinion from a renowned back specialist determines next week that his 2008 season is over. "I'd like to have him back, but that's not my choice," Guillen said Thursday of Crede, who hasn't played since Sept. 2 because of recurring back stiffness. Crede said he plans to get an evaluation next week from Drew Dossett, a Dallas-based spine specialist who has examined several athletes with neck and back problems, including Brewers infielder Craig Counsell. Crede is frustrated he can't play and has been relegated to stretching exercises and heat and ice treatments. He hasn't performed any baseball work since being sidelined.

If he can play, he should stay. He is getting millions , so he should suck it up. If the doctors sign off on the injury, he should take care of it. Just like every other working stiff does.

Its okay Crede, keep your chin up. I know Ozzie Guillen's approval is like the kiss of death, but maybe you can get a fresh start in a new city next year.

I'm rootin' for 'ya Joe, you're a heck of a player when healthy. Please consider resting your back vs. Detroit next season. Thank you.

If Joe is healthy as I have said before he is a top 5 3rd baseman in baseball, it was obvious Joe was never really healthy as evident of his defense this year
