I am agreeign to Disagree!
Your right in some sense yes, however, look what he also did with what he had. He fed and raised a team of pitchers, Adam Lind, Travis Snider, adn the list goes on! however he has made some bad mistakes. But if it wasnt for him, we wouldnt be were we are at today!

JP hasn't made any progress in his years in Toronto. His teams have always finished with 85 or so victories, and failed to build on any late-season surges, as is always the case. The Jays have a decent nucleus of Wells, Rios, Snyder, Lind and Hill, but have failed to add some serious contributors to pick up the slack. The Jays really need a clubhouse presence, a guy who will pick the team up and lead them by sheer force. The Jays have too many guys intent on playing quietly and the clubhouse mix is a huge problem.

Good move for the Jays. An organization can falter easily without bringing along the young prospects in the farm system. Maybe this guy will start scouting the Lugnuts.
