Miami has been exploring a lot of possibilities, including, three sources told Yahoo! Sports, recent discussions with the Chicago Bulls on several trade scenarios that included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for unsigned restricted free agent Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and possibly Joakim Noah. Yet, those talks died within the past seven to 10 days and sources said there was no indication they would be restarted

It won't happen...

September 14, 2008  11:21 AM ET

they shouldn't trade noah, trading thomas is ok but not noah....

September 14, 2008  11:28 AM ET

why would anybody want Joe-Kim Noah and his silly ponytail, anyway?

September 14, 2008  11:30 AM ET

Both teams need to do something to kick-start their teams.

September 14, 2008  11:37 AM ET

Joakim needs to go back to the fraternity and play for the intermurals team. Thats the kinda attitude he has always shown. He's just odd and not NBA adjusted. (never thought someone needed to be adjusted or mature for the NBA, but whoop there he is...)

This would be a huge trade, but what would the Heat want with Gordon and Hughes they already have Wade, check out everydayhoops.com for more info

September 14, 2008  12:22 PM ET

id rather trade Noah than thomas...thomas is supposed to be a bona fide superstar...

he hasn't bloomed into what i wanted him to be..but i wouldnt mind gooden, hughes, and noah for shawn marion and a 2nd round pick. not at all.

September 14, 2008  12:27 PM ET

i wouldn't trade nobody for joakim noah, and this all deal is not good for the heat to me.

September 14, 2008  12:35 PM ET

Looks like the Heat are tyring to Reload

September 14, 2008  01:12 PM ET

Marion isn't what the Bulls need. Gordon and Hughes aren't what the Heat need. Nobody wants Noah or Banks. This could be the stupidest trade in recent memory if it goes down.

September 14, 2008  01:45 PM ET

Why trade Marion? He's the perfect complement to Wade. He can fill up the stat sheet without having a play run for him. And why would Miami need two more shooting guards? Sound like fiction.

September 14, 2008  02:04 PM ET

What would the heat do with Ben Gordon and Larry Hughes? Play Dwayne Wade less?

September 14, 2008  02:14 PM ET

if Ben Gordon doesnt sign and stay with the Bulls what would happen to him in Heat. He would be relegated again at the bench again like he is with the Bulls. Wade will eat up a lot of minutes at SG and Larry Hughes would be a great addition coz he can also play the pg and sg position. Its better for Ben to stay with the Bulls and atleast he has a lot of minutes in there. But if he doesnt sign and stay with the bulls i think the deal makes sense but its better to trade thomas rather than Noah. Thomas is a draft bust, yes he can fly but has no game inconsistent, a joke. Why did the Bulls traded away Lamarcus for him? Better trade scenario

Bulls will get Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks while Heat gets Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and Tyrus Thomas

Get it done Pax and RIley.

September 14, 2008  02:18 PM ET

Thomas bona fide super joke. he needs to consistent in his game and needs to show that he has matured in the nba. last season he shows promise in one game then after he struggles. He needs to show that he is worth it to be the 4th overall pick if not he will be included in the Sports Illustrated new batch of Draft Bust.

heat need a leader...i say go for it....Noah has worn out his welcome in chicago because he speaks up which is great, but idiots in chicago hate hearing truth...I I would hate to get rid of marion for Noah, gordon and hughes......but hughes and gordon can shoot and we get another big body in the middle who can actually play defense in noah...but isn't heat going to have too many players?

September 14, 2008  03:25 PM ET

oops...when i say idiots in chicago, I'm specifically talking about bulls management...

September 14, 2008  04:26 PM ET

Hughes is nice but Noah & Gordon we dont need any morons.
My heat are fine with the roster we have now!

September 14, 2008  05:18 PM ET

if this deal went down it would be huge for chicago, since we dont need any guards

but i really dont see it for miami, unless they plan to get boozer after this contract is over

September 14, 2008  05:22 PM ET

i was like **** that is the most lopsided trade ever

September 14, 2008  06:13 PM ET

Not a bad idea but why would the Heat want Gordon with D. Wade already there? Gordon isn't a point guard.
