06:50 AM ET 09.15 | Chandler Hamilton wide receiver Drew Terrell chose Stanford over Arizona State and it had nothing to do with the Sun Devils' shocking loss Saturday night to Nevada-Las Vegas. "He made up his mind before the game," Hamilton football coach Steve Belles said. Terrell, 6-foot, 180 pounds, who had seven scholarship offers from major colleges, has 12 catches for 106 yards in three games this season. He has carried the ball seven times for 46 yards. He led Hamilton last year with 47 catches for 786 yards. He caught seven touchdown passes. Terrell had narrowed his choices to Stanford and ASU this summer. He had made unofficial visits to both schools.

Harbaugh is a blouse wearin' poodle chaser, otherwise don't care.

Must admit if I am looking at the big picture (not just football) and Stanford vs ASU are my two choices; I would definitely pick Stanford. It's not like he had USC, Oklahoma, LSU etc... on his list.

Take a free Stanford education.

Props to the kid for choosing a better education instead of a better football program.

At this point, I'd say that who the better football program is, would be a toss-up!

Stanford is able to attract above average football players to its program due to the lure of getting a free education at a prestigious college. What failed its program thus far is its ability to recruit talented coaching staff to complement the players. Just look at their records!

Yup Jabril...
As big as NCAAF is, there is still a bigger picture. Stanford over ASU.

Is THIS all it takes to get a D-1 scholarship these days...not too impressive if you ask me.
