Gregg wants Marlins' closer role

Kevin Gregg expressed his desire before Sunday's game of reclaiming his closer's role. But when manager Fredi Gonzalez removed Gregg after he gave up an RBI double in the ninth to the only batter he faced, it probably signaled that his wait will continue. Arthur Rhodes was brought on to get the final out in the Marlins' come-from-behind victory.

Fredi did the right thing. Gregg's fine as a mid-reliever, but I don't trust him closing games, and I haven't in a long time.
