Not even 14 hours had passed since Francisco Rodriguez set a major league record with 58 saves, and already he had a new goal in mind. "Next year, I'll be saving 50 more," he said. For the Angels? "I would love to, but it's not up to me," said Rodriguez, a free agent this fall.

Yeah, Bobby Thigpen's career went real well after he saved those 57 games in 1990.

there are like 20 games left, Not really sure how he figures that he is going to get 50 more saves then he already has next year.. NOT every game is a save situation.. I don't like this guy and i never have.. i hope he goes to a team that either wins by alot or losses every game..

I can't stand K-Rod. Does he really have to react the way he does after a save. Screaming at the sky and acting like he's on speed?

Come to the Rangers KRod, with our pitching you will get the chance to save over a hundred games!

I wish he pitched in the NL and get to bat. K-Rod would get K-nocked out by a fastball for his celebration tactics.

I hope he goes to the yankees for a lot of money, just like everyone else on there team, and then he can play like he doesn't give a crap like everyone else on the yankees.. he will never save fifty games in a season again in his life. talk to me after the first round of the playoffs when he is setting up t times..

He says it isn't up to him if his predicted 50 saves are for the Angels next year. If it isn't up to him to decide who he signs with, then who is it up to? Players are not required to prostitute themselves out to the highest bidders.

If he likes the Angels and he likes living in L.A. then if they make a competitive offer, he should take it. I like living where I do, if some company in NYC offered me a 50% raise, I wouldn't even consider taking it. And if I were making millions & living in a great place, there is no way I'd leave to make a couple million more somewhere else.

I'd like to see him get smoked by a liner up the middle one of these days. His celebration act is tired. He's good, but there are others who I think are a lot better.

Mariano Rivera > K-Rod!

And there will be no K-Rod in LA after November 1st. Go get stuck in a freeway traffic jam.

He's just another attention ****, loser that has to scream like a moron, and fake a thanks to god. You can really tell the cameras are on him. Would be damn funny if he hurt himself during one of his fits.
