John Maine joked that he already has his closer song ready: Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Posse on Broadway." GM Omar Minaya told the Daily News, however, that Maine won't need ninth-inning entry music in 2009, despite Billy Wagner likely being lost for that entire season following Tommy John elbow surgery. "He's a starter," Minaya said before Monday night's Mets-Nationals game. "We're planning on John Maine being a starter next year. We'll have to find another way."
