'Canes land N.C. swingman

The Miami basketball team landed a big commitment Monday night -- and another budding star from coach Frank Haith's home state of North Carolina -- when swingman Garrius Adams announced he was picking the Canes over South Carolina. Adams, a 6-5, 185-pound senior at Apex Middle Creek High, is rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com and is in Rivals.com's Top 150.
