Devil Ray star closer to return

Barring a setback, Rocco Baldelli (strained left hamstring) is less than a week away from rejoining the Rays. Baldelli will report to Triple-A Durham on Sunday to begin a rehab assignment that likely will last through Thursday. The Rays hope to have Baldelli back in their lineup when they open a homestand against the Dodgers on Friday.

That must have been some injury Baldelli had.....moved him from centerfield to closing.

hey JankzBoy4LyFE - how about getting a life! Have you ever heard of humor? Oh, wait - that's right - you're a Jankee fan. No sense of humor there. As for Baldelli, I love this guy as a player but it's just a matter of time before he gets hurt again. He's just one of those players that can't stay healthy for whatever reason. If he could stay healthy, you'd be looking at a perennial all-star. (Yes, that's a word JankzBoy - look it up.)
