Busch claims agent misled him

Kyle Busch says his previous agent hampered negotiations to keep him at Hendrick Motorsports. The 22-year-old driver said on Friday that Alan Miller kept him in the dark about many things during talks to sign an extension beyond next season and that he was surprised initially to learn Dale Earnhardt Jr. had been signed to replace him. Among the things was the number of other organizations expressing an interest in Busch, which team owner Rick Hendrick said had a negative impact on discussions.

Kyle will profit from that agents devious ways. Sometimes during negotiations using other organizations as leverage does work against you. Good Job Alan! You got Kyle fired from the best organization in Racing.

I have to agree with JGJintsMetsFan76. Making NO excuses for Kyle (though I admire the KID), looks like his negotiations (on his side) were as wreckless as his driving at times. Live and learn! That partly explains why on earth someone would want to leave the best funded and equipped team in NASCAR. Actually Kyle and his agent created that "room at the Inn" that Rick Hendricks said earlier didn't exist. What a doorman he'd make. But Kyle Busch will survive and I'll bet always wonder what could have been if only he'd paid more attention to detail than running his face and attitude in public.

Two words can describe little Busch.

HEAD CASE.

Strangely, his older brother can be described the same way....

Yeah, Kyle did fire his agent a few days ago. He's been sniffing around and whether it is true or not, decided he wasn't getting paid enough. From what I have been hearing it is true. Other teams are ready to bump up his pay. Every thing is working out for everybody. In other sports, a lot of this contract stuff is against the rules. Imagine if Payton Manning signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys in the middle of the NFL season. Nascar is crazy. But, that is what I like about Nascar. It is run like business in the real world. Other sports are phony in that respect; the other sports are socialist in a way.
