Andrew Bogut is scheduled to return to Milwaukee from Australia this weekend, and the 7-foot center is expected to be ready for the opening of the Milwaukee Bucks' training camp Sept. 30. Bogut suffered a badly sprained left ankle while competing for Australia against the U.S. during the Beijing Olympics, an injury suffered when he got tangled up with Team USA star Kobe Bryant. But a magnetic resonance imaging exam showed no serious damage, and Bogut has been rehabilitating the injury in his hometown of Melbourne for nearly a month. "Reports are that he's healthy and should start training camp 100%," Bucks general manager John Hammond said Wednesday.

lol....

I actually think he will have a productive year
I always say it takes bigs extra time to develop in the NBA......
and his stats and play have been steadily climbing

Did everyone miss the olympics, he got injured representing his country. Everyone knew it happened and good thing it was in the summer because he should play a majority of the games. Players get injured, it happens, no team ever avoids it.

For the 1st time in several years, I am excited about the Bucks this year. They now seem to have the nucleus of a team that can make a run to the playoffs not to mention compete with teams like Detroit and Cleveland. Yes, Bogut seems to be injured much of the time but if he stays healthy - the Bucks should have a great year!!!

They got a guy who can shoot and penetrate in Jefferson, a guy who can shoot 3s in Redd, I've seen Bogut improved through the years, they just don't have a decent PG that can run their offense. I doubt Lue or Ridnour can do that.
