Robby Gordon Motorsports and Gillett Evernham Motorsports announced jointly Friday the two have resolved differences over a disputed plan to merge the two organizations. Disagreement over a proposal to merge led to the filing of a $23.5 million lawsuit recently by GEM in which it claimed Gordon violated the terms of a tentative agreement that would have sold his team to GEM. As part of the resolution announced Friday, the lawsuit will be dismissed and the merger will not proceed.

If I was to guess, I would say Gordon misrepresented the value of his holdings. This wasn't the first rodeo for that Gillett fellow. He didn't get the money he has by being snookered by a driver/owner.
I think they are sitting at the same table at the A I G Christmas Party. It's open to all of us seeing we paid for it. LOL

Robby balked....hang in there...you are a dying breed.

As part of the deal Robby had to promise NEVER to ride for GEM. Ever!

Robby has been bitter ever sense the Rally was canceled because of terrorist threats. He lost millions on that deal.

Don't know who is right here but Mr. Gordon comes across as a little shifty. I have to go now and tell my grand children that they are the ones that will pay the bailout that the oligarchy has bestowed on the monied people. Viva el Bushy

Hard to tell who is the bad guy and who is the good one between these, but glad they settled so we don't have to hear about it anymore.
