Though Miami has oral commitments from running backs Bryce Brown and Mike James, Killian's talented Lamar Miller said UM assistant Micheal Barrow called and said ''they still want me.'' He's considering UM, UF and FSU, among others.

Miami is on their way back, and their getting plenty of offensive skill players. But to get from very good to the elite status that once was so familiar, they need to start securing the defensive skill players that their defense has lacked the last three, four years. Letting Patrick Johnson slip away last year is not a good start.

f patrick johnson. miami backed off him cause they saw what he was. an 'i' guy, not a team guy. he sits in baton rouge watchin what his worst nightmare come to fruition. the old miami swagger that dominated college football is about to be upon us again. lamar see's it. just like when miami had frank gore, willis mcgahee and clinton portis. even though a true cane like portis told mcgahee that 'while i'm here you won't touch the football'. we all know that that competition landed all of them in the league. and while i'm on it, had enough studs two deep to go something like 33-2 over three seasons. no reggie bush, no clown like leinart posin at red carpet premiers....... no tim 'no nfl future' tebow at the helm. no reggie 'overrated' bush', no top 5 recruits class 8 years running usc that loses to fin standard. no vince ' no balls' young, no heismans, no gimmick about to be exposed clown's like urban meyer at the helm. nah, lamar knows, there's only one team in the past 25 years that can claim 5 nat'll championships under 3 different coaches, that stood up and beat the second beat team year after year FSU. lamar wants to be in the back field with bryce, wants to stiff arm wack **** gamour boy patrick johnson, wants to say he wore the same gear as warren sapp, ray lewis, ed reed, devin hester, clinton portis......... and if lamar really gets it, he can say he played on the same team , for the same school as SEAN TAYLOR. maybe he even has the balls to ask for #26. now that's a tough decision............

Why you hating on USC? Personally I like Shannon and what he is doing, but I fail to see the tie in to your hatred of USC. As I tell my two year, "FOCUS!"

There was also a big money issue that surfaced that Patrick Johnson's Father wanted to get paid. Was it any truth to it I don't know. However, PJ tried to change his mind and go back to UM after the clearing house questioned his huge jump in an ACT test score of more than 12 pts. Can you say mmmmmmmmmm!! I to agree that he will in the end regret just like Deonte Thompson of Florida wishing he had signed with the "U" like he started in the beginning. Can you say 10-1

By the time its over, it will be a lot of kids sorry that they didnt commit to the University of Miami. Can you CaneHeads feel that old Miami Swagger coming back? Come on over Lamar! dont be on the other end of I told you so!

Even though I thought Miami was smart in just goign after 2 great Recruits this year since we dod have a gkut of Rb's, I kuv Bryce Brown an he will get alot of playing time but I knw hes going to be even more heavilty recruited after his Junior Year but Miami still has the inside track since his bro plays for them an who wouldnt wnt to be on a Miami squad where its you an your brother for at least 3 years playing togteher. Javarris Jaes after his injury last year an this season will stay another season before umping to the Pro's an im pretty sure we have Greig Cooper the next great Miami NFL Bound Miami RB would give the NFL 5 now, soory USC but you havn't been RB U for awhile, an we are still LB U, so sorry Penn ST. but look at Ray Lewis, D.J. Williams, John Vilma, John Beason, Rocky McIntosh, an Colin McCarthy soon.
But we should make sure we pick up at least 3or4 OTanOG in this Yr's Class as well as 1 more guaranteed 4* RB.

An im pulling for us to take our ACC Division which we will do but I see my Canes going either 8-3 or 9-2 this season not including our Bowl Game. The Swaggers Back! The Defence is Dominant, an the Super FreshMan are gettingin there early which I like, Sean Spence is a Beast at LB even if hes mot heavy enough, maybe a swith to FS or SS if he cant pack on at least 15-25 more pounds, Theron Collier is solid as is the other young WR's when they get their shots, McGee teh CB, an my man Forston is great.
