Noel Johnson, a 6-foot-7 guard from Fayetteville, Ga., will commit to the USC basketball team, according to his father, former NBA player Cheese Johnson. Noel, who is expected to make a formal announcement Tuesday, was ranked among the top 40 prospects in the nation by Rivals.com. He had visited campus with his family and godfather Xavier McDaniel, another NBA veteran.

Fight On! Now we just need someone to fill the hole from RouSean's departure as well as another PG... because Lil' Romeo just. wont. cut it.

Lil Romeo is actually going to play? I just thought he was a throw in to get DeRozan.

SC is light at PG behind Daniel Hackett. Lil Romeo will never see the floor other than pre-game and garbage time.

So what's the deal, now they get all of the B-ball recruits too?

Note to USC: How about letting the rest of us snag a decent recruit every now and then in SOME sport!

I think FSU will be just fine in football in a couple of years, the classof 2009 is starting to shape up well for the 'Noles; but thanks for the compliment. GO 'SC!
