Top-40 recruit to commit to USC
Noel Johnson, a 6-foot-7 guard from Fayetteville, Ga., will commit to the USC basketball team, according to his father, former NBA player Cheese Johnson. Noel, who is expected to make a formal announcement Tuesday, was ranked among the top 40 prospects in the nation by Rivals.com. He had visited campus with his family and godfather Xavier McDaniel, another NBA veteran.
