The first of many more to come, I'm sure. What a great win for Michigan this past Saturday.

September 30, 2008  08:29 AM ET

Now if only they can hold on to their 2009 recruits.

September 30, 2008  08:37 AM ET

Michigan had over two dozen recruits at the game on Saturday. Seeing a comeback like that with 110,000 fans going crazy has to make an impression. I think that we may lock up all the potential Cass Tech recruits at this point.

This is just one of those things that annoy me. Like car companies releasing 2009 models in 2008.

September 30, 2008  09:35 AM ET

To bad it will not help them this year... lol cuz they suck

Like this is a surprise? New Coach, nothing but freshmen QB's, new system...what did you expect? Oh, that's right, they beat a top 10 team this week coming from 19 down...you may think they suck now, but this past weekend was just a taste of what will be within the next season or two.

well of course they might get good over time... that was my point lol.... they suck right now... and the 2010 commit isn't gonna do them any good right now... they suck lol... the OSU vs UM game this should be pretty close cuz they both suck lol...

September 30, 2008  11:18 AM ET

Oh, this is just a preview of more to come VERY SOON. Yes, this is early but it's a good thing because these kids are drooling, especially Ricardo Miller, to play for Michigan. This kid is shaping up to be one of the best WR/TE in FL. He's a BIG DUDE who can run!

Rumored to commit next is one of the BEST PLAYERS in the 2010 class. He already has offers from USC, tTPU, and Florida. He's from the South as well. Look for it during the MSU game.

UM might never become USC or TX but I believe RR is building something that will make kids push over their grannies just to commit once they get their offers. Wonderful things are happing in A2. And you can bet your pRon collection that OSU is getting worried real quick because Michigan is getting the talent it needs to run what RR wants to run. The Wolverines will feast in HELL on BUCKEYES!

GO BLUE!

Michigan doesn't suck. They just aren't playing with consistency. UM has shown flashes of what it can do when they play RR football. Sure, there are some very big holes in the O, but the Defense is keeping the ship upright for the time being. If the O can settle down and the team can learn how to hold on the ball, the team you think sucks will beotch slap you and rub steer poo in your face! :P

Please worry about the Big-12, or Big 3 or whatever is there. I just wishTexas would play someone decent in non-conference. Rice? Fla Atlantic? Arkansas? UT always does this. Their schedule is worse than Pop-Warner.

Jim Tressel owns them at this rate. Instead of feasting there, they have looked like they are playing there.

you are absolutely right. the last 6 years haven't been good to UM. But it goes in cycles. Before Tressel came in, who owned who? You'll never know if you talk to a suck eye fan. They seem to think Buckeye football never existed during the Cooper years when Lloyd made a fool of Buckeye football.

September 30, 2008  12:03 PM ET

Michigan will be right up there with USC in 5-6 years, but will be a top 5 team in 2-3 years. I'm not sure why Texas was included in the same sentence as USC...the only big win Texas has had in the last 5 years was when they won the national championship because of one player(ahem, vince young). Texas consistently is expected to do big things, when they usually don't end up winning the Big 12. OVERRATED!
Anyway, RichRod is getting something special going to Ann Arbor, and the college football world is ready for a shakeup, starting next season. Heck, this season we already had a huge win for Rodriguez(comeback against #9 Wisconsin, if you weren't paying attention). Big time recruits are licking their chops thinking about the chance to dominate in the future(not to far away...sooner than you all expect). Think if Tressel can't handle the spread too well...what will RichRod's 4.4 all-purpose backs to the BigTen? WHOA imagine the possibilities

I'll have a glass of that kool-aid Warren is drinking and while you're at it, a toke off that joint.

TSUN has played one decent half the whole year. Settle down.

UT has played OSU the last couple of years in non conference play when they were actually good... cant help it if no one wants to play a good team early in the season

This kid's mom is a Michigan graduate.

So thanks mom for your son.

I guess one could say the same thing about ND and the rest of the schools that aren't playing well.

September 30, 2008  12:48 PM ET

It's now obvious how important RR was to WVU. Once he lands his Pat White at Michigan things will start clicking. UM will be very dangerous very quickly.

September 30, 2008  12:49 PM ET

Billlyboy,

I am just taking a que from TABU (The Aholes Below us) and parroting your always overly optimistic style.

Last year ND sucked. This year they don't suck. I never said UM is a good team. They aren't. They just don't suck like ND did last year. If UM ends up only winning 3 and goes for 3-9. Then I'll agree they suck.
