Joey Logano will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut as he will drive the No. 59 HT Motorsports truck in the Mountain Dew 250 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. Logano replaces Ted Musgrave, who parted ways with the team during the Las Vegas race weekend. The team scrambled to put Stacy Compton in the truck at Vegas.

With all the seat time this kid has had this year...ARCA, Nationwide, Cup, and now Truck, this kid will probably be expected to win the Daytona 500 next year.
I hope he races Dega and Martinsville this year.
Those two tracks make you grow up fast.

He has to grow up fast. He is going to filling some big shoes next year, come to think of it, he is going to be filling a BIG firesuit also.

I guess the days are numbered calling Tony 'the great pumpkin'.
What will we call Joey in that car?

September 30, 2008  11:20 AM ET

Joey in that car will be called a winner.

What will he have to do next year to be considered a success? Win a race? Win three? More?
Does he have to make the chase? I hope he can handle it all. It really helps that he is going to an established team. And a good established team, but if he wrecks a few cars and is off the lead lap the first five or six races next year, what will we all be hearing from the media?

I hate that the drivers start at such an early age.. I don't think lots of them are mature enough to handle all the ups and downs!!! I truely think Joey will some day be one heck of a driver, I wish him well!!!

Funny.........I do hope they invest in a firesuit half the size of Tony's.

Wonder what's going on with the chase. These filler articles aren't keeping current with Nascar. As much as I would like to talk about the state of red bull racing I think I would like to have an article about the previous race. The chase has been rather exciting this year for once and all we get on here is this chit. Come on T&R

just thought you might need some food for thought.... he isn't ok'ed by francecar to drive cup car on super speedway... thus the truck....
