I'm not suprised that Spurrier would bench someone, I am surprised its for something off the field. All I'm saying is that Spurrier has never struck me as the type of coach who cares at all about his players education. Just so long as they produce on the field.

FYI, this is and has been a standard of practice for Spurrier. Contrary to public perceptions he does care deeply about his players and their education.

Co-Starter?? What the heck is that. Can you put 12 men on the field now? Do it, make it official, or just shut the heck up coach...

That picture of the Ol' Ball Coach is just classic. And I agree with Cowboystar. Spurrier may not have ever respected other SEC teams or coaches, but his record at UF with regards to discipline and compassion is impeccable.

Spurrier has to be more careful, keep a lower profile. There is still a contract out on him in the DC area.....

I don't like Munnerlyn's demeanor, so it's no suprise that he isn't keeping up with his studies to me. The kid's got a bad attitude.

He should probably avoid Tallahassee as well, considering how badly he gets beaten whenever he travels there...

Missing class, who cares. As long as he can play football, going to class doesn't matter. What is wrong with this. If you don't go to class, you do not play. Seems to me this should be a SCHOOL issue not a FOOTBALL issue. If you have to pay to go to school, you would go. Jerry
