South Atlanta???s Derrick Favors, who is ranked as the nation's No. 1 basketball prospect by Scout, has started weeding out his finalists. The 6-foot-9 Favors has eliminated Connecticut and now will decide among six schools, according to his high school coach. Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Memphis, Georgia, Florida State and N.C. State remain on Favors' list. Favors has taken official visits to Tech and Georgia, and has not scheduled any more.

Come to the Gophers Derrick!! It sounds crazy but Tubby Smith has something cooking here and you would be the star. Think about it or at least make a visit.

If Hewitt can get off to a good start at Tech this season it wouldn't shock me if this kid picks Tech for his One and Done season.

Kentucky has the guards and some good and one great one up front. You should be the other great one up front Derrick. Please come to Kentucky ... the number one program in the nation.

I like Smith being in the Big Ten. Please just beat that jackass coach in the state to your immediate right. Sad to say we don't have a great track record on that one.

The kid told me 5 years ago when he was in middle school that his dream was to play for Tech. After talking with him lately I only hope that he has changed his mind.

the kid could go anywhere he wanted and these are the schools hes choosen...i can understand wanting to stay close to home but doesnt he want to win?
