Quentin eyes ALCS return

With his right wrist heavily taped, slugger Carlos Quentin wasn't added to the White Sox's roster for the American League Division Series. But the subsiding pain has raised Quentin's confidence to the point where he thinks he could be ready should the Sox advance to the AL Championship Series. Quentin intimated he might be able to return if the pain is tolerable.

It's doubtful that he would be much help after missing so much time. His timing would be off, and he may end up being a detriment rather than a big help if he were in the line up.

Timing takes time...no time for that now.

Hopefully he doesnt have to think about it due to the Rays beating them soundly.

What he should be thinking about is the juvenille move that got him in this place to begin with, not whether he can ride in on a white horse and save his team. The White Sox unfortunately, like the Brewers had just enough gas in the tank to get to the postseason no further. I will be pulling for the ChiSox though as my fiancee`and her family are dyed-in-the-wool fans.

How do you know they have nothing left in the tank Chasin' Utleys? Are you traveling with the team, giving them medical attention? Do you have inside info that proves they are out of gas?

Just looking at the way they limped into the playoffs, no I'm not talking about beating the deflated Tigers or the 1-0 win over the Twinkies. I hope they do well, hell I hope they make it to the Series (and lose in seven to my Phillies), but I think that once the adrenaline from getting in wears off they're going to falter. That being said, I'm gonna be rooting for them and am leaving work for my watering hole..............GO CHISOX!

On a comical note they better not be out of gas, cuz I've seen how much it costs to fill up a tank in the Windy City! Oil is under $95/barrell, yet we're paying a price at the pump that is equal to the amount we were paying when it was $130/barrell, wait that's not funny..........

you could be in Hawaii...paying like it's $130/barrel, plus shipping it over here...
