Quarterback controversy will begin Week 6 after Matt Flynn shreds the Falcons.

lol.....Matt Flynn beat out Brian Brohm. That was such a waste of a 2nd round pick. The Pack should have signed a Vet in the Off Season. Brohm will be a Wasted talent in GB. He might have been a player somewhere else.

This is irony at its best. The fact that this team told Mr. Durability (not to mention a great QB) "no thanks, we don't want you anymore" is hilarious!! Now their little golden boy replacement is wearing a skirt already in his 5th game and they have NOWHERE to turn. Talk about ego getting in the way of making business decisions!

Seems like most of the good Qb's come from the later rounds. That said, Packers should have gotten someone with more experience for backup.

Pretty ironic 258 (guessing on number) vs 4! Too funny. Even if he guts out the pain--which he must! His arm could be weak and he gets eaten alive while trying.

Not sure but suspect that many of Brett's (not all) were not related to the throwing arm/hand therefore he could gut them out??

I feel bad for Brohm. He would have probably been a 1st RD pick the year before, but came back to college. Who knows what will happen with him now..

You know, if I were a team in need of a QB of the future-----Lions? I might try and make a deal for Brian Brohm, the 3rd string QB.

Maybe KC needs to look at him. You can't look at Brohm as a bust because he never played.

New Orleans kept Aaron Brooks and let Marc Bulger off the practice team. Bulger was 3rd stringer till injuries put him in and he has done well for the team. Steve Young was a failure with the Bucs but a Super Bowl winner with SF. Matt Hasselbeck didn't show his full potential until he was in Seattle. Derek Anderson---oops, sorry bout that one. Drew Brees was said to be expendable until his 3rd or 4th season in the league.

So to all of you know it all wanna be GM's who think that Brohm is already a wash, check your history. QB is the hardest position to learn. He could turn around and make it big with somebody else.

P.S. Tom Brady was a 7th rounder and he was great....so maybe Flynn is the man.

Congratulations to Matt Flynn. I hope his first start goes well. And if it goes really well, maybe he should get a shot at the job full time.

Flynn better be ready, because Rodgers probably won't play the whole game.

He is a good QB though...

Matt Flynn will not shred the Falcons, granted I am a big Louisville fan so I would have liked to see Brohm starting I have to agree that he is going to be a wasted tallent in GB. Kudos to Matt Flynn for winning out the Starting job.
