Diaw injures Amare's eye

08:53 AM ET 10.03 | Training camp in Tucson and Amare Stoudemire's health just don't mix. Stoudemire's ankle was well enough to play in a Wednesday night scrimmage, but he was poked in the right eye by Boris Diaw and missed Thursday's practices because of a torn iris. He also will sit out Friday's public scrimmage. Stoudemire missed the past two Tucson scrimmages in 2005 and 2007 because of knee surgeries. He will wear goggles when he resumes practice and is interested in wearing them full-time.
