Bruins land center commitment

Anthony Stover, a 6-foot-9 senior center from Los Angeles Windward High, gave his verbal commitment to UCLA this morning according to his mother, Rena. Stover had narrowed his choices to Arizona, Arizona State, Creighton and UCLA. Stover joins top-100 forward/wing prospects Tyler Honeycutt of Sylmar High, Reeves Nelson of Modesto Christian High and Brendan Lane from Rocklin High as committed to sign with UCLA for the 2009 season. Signing day is next month.
