Rodriguez: 'This is ridiculous'
The booing returned to the Big House. It's become the newest Michigan tradition. It's become the newest Michigan tradition. But in a different twist this time, the loudest jeers came from the head coach. Rich Rodriguez revealed the first hint of frustration Saturday, exasperated over his team's continued deficient execution. He didn't hide his disgust in the aftermath of one of the worst drubbings Michigan ever endured on its home turf. "This is ridiculous right now," Rodriguez lamented.

oh man, Michigan came out strong but like fake viagra from China, they wilted quickly. Juice spanked UM's D who couldn't tackle a Joe Pa if they tried. But that's Michigan being Michigan. Still am optimistic for the future of this team but I wouldn't want be on the team due to the abuse they are about to take this week from coach RR.
Hat's off to Illinois and Zook the Crook for a game very well played. Hopefully they play that well against the Sucknuts.

A coach can only do so much. At some point someone on this team better learn to hang onto the dang ball...

Let me get this straight. Mr. Rodriguez arrived at Michigan and promptly changed...well, everything. He runs off several key players and the ones who remain are forced to run an option offense that many are ill-suited for and all are unfamiliar with. By the middle of his first season in Ann Arbor the troops are still getting adjusted to the RichRod way of doing things. Things have gotten predictably rocky with a formidable schedule, and Michigan has lost some games... and already this arrogant fool is ridiculing his players!!! Did he really think that he would just come in and tear up the Big 10 in his first year?!
I have a lot of respect for the Michigan program. Incidents like this make me wonder if Mr. Rodriguez is the right guy for the job. IMO, that school, and especially those players, deserve better than this.

I would boo too if I was a Michigan fan. As much as Ohio State choked to UM in the 90s under Cooper, it was NEVER as bad as what UM has this year.
Cheer up though Mr. Warden, your Crapperines shouldn't have too much trouble beating Toledo this week, because they are looking like the worst team in the MAC this year.

Even as an ND fan I am not enjoying the difficulties Michigan is going through this year. College football is better off when the Wolverines are good and they WILL get back to that point (with or without RR) sometime in the future. I do find it ironic though how mercilessly so many of you MU faithful (The Truth, Biminator, The Warden to name a few) have "ripped" everything Notre Dame since the debacle of their 2007 season. I am not saying some of it wasn't justified but it doesn't feel very good...does it...?

Gariboy,
I have stated time and time again I want ND to get better and have time and time again commented how well Pickle boy is playing. Add Golden Shower Tate and Floyd and ND is really playing well considering they do have a very easy schedule this year.
I have also praised Weis for realizing he sucks at play calling and allowing others to do so. It's proving to be a great move on his part.
Michigan will suffer this year but next year SHOULD show some improvement. I am going to put 2010 or 2011 as the huge year(s) where UM shows that the growing pains were well worth it.

RichRod isn't being arrogant. This isn't involving skill level or potential talent. The mistakes by this team are turnovers. Fumbling multiple times a game and losing every one will kill any team, especially a very young, unproven bunch. He's upset because these players just need to hold onto the ball, especially veteran backs such as Brandon Minor. They'll come around, but frustration is obviously going to happen when UM shoots themselves in the foot with many turnovers.

I never had anything againist Michigan but i hope they suck b*lls this year cause RR didn't want to come to BAMA and made all kinda excuses and demands on WV to make him stay there and he ended up leaving anyway!

I would think you would be grateful he didn't go to Alabama. I think Saban was a little bit better hire. You should also be glad Dennis Franchione left for the Aggies too!

rich rod knew this was going to be difficult if he's actually a decent coach he could modify his offense to better suit the team, auburn did that this week against vandy, throwing in some of the old offense they were more comfortable with, why can't rich rod

Maybe, just maybe, after two or three years, RichRod will be a Meesh - e - gun coach. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be eating crow in two or three years. But it seems now like the UMich athletic program has jumped off a bridge and taken the bridge down too.

D**K-Rod is a jerk and blames eveyone but himself when things dont go well.To many times at WVA he took the credit when they won and blamed everyone else when they lost. He got totally out coached by Dave Wannstedt and Jim Leavitte last year. He has been outcoached by everyone except Bielema this year and will get severly outcoached Nov 22nd against the sweatervest. As a Buckeye fan I beg Michigan to find a new coach so this can actually become a rivalry again because I for one dont even worry about Michigan anymore I worry more about Penn St, Illinios, and Wisconsin

Does anybody smell a coaching carousel coming up @ the end of the season or what!!!
Carroll, Miles to the NFL.
Saban to USC, Spurrier to LSU, Skip Holtz to SoCar.
The list is endless. Can you imagine Jack del Rio as coach for LSU? His name alone gets women gooey.

Nick Saban may be a great coach, but he'd mesh with the USC culture Carroll has created about as well as Shaq meshed with Kobe. For that matter, I'm not sure Carroll meshes with anything NFL, but that may be just my wishful thinking doing the analysis. If and when he does go, USC would be better off hiring one of his proteges than any hotshot name I can think of at the moment.
But for me to talk about Carroll leaving is like +talking about my own death. It'll come, no question, but I don't want to think about it. How about them Dodgers?
