Pacers swingman Daniels looks good

His first step is quicker. He's darting in the passing lanes deflecting or intercepting passes. His jump shot is more consistent. So this is what two healthy knees can do for Indiana Pacers swingman Marquis Daniels? "That's all it is, I'm just healthy," he said after practice Sunday. Daniels dealt with knee problems in each of the past two seasons. The ongoing health issues caused him to play a step slower, which in turn affected his production. Daniels is competing for minutes at shooting guard, the Pacers' deepest position. Danny Granger, Mike Dunleavy, Stephen Graham, Shawne Williams and Brandon Rush also play on the wing.

Their trying to boost his trade value. Perhaps, the raps might consider him. He might prosper in the right system...don't think thats Indie tho'

Daniels back in his Dallas days looked promising. I liked his potential. It would be nice if he could become a good player off the bench. He was a nice defender, a slasher, and if he could develop a decent jump shot, could really give some nice minutes on the floor. Even if the Pacers are shopping him, there are quite a few teams who need a deeper bench.
