When will the Yanks learn? You don't need to sign another high-priced infielder. Go after some pitching help....Your starters are old. And the bullpen needs major help. They don't need Tex.

CASHman will probably tries to get Tex for Giambi..need some pitchers though past, Moose might retire and Pettite is not the same. Better look for some pitchers.

If there is one position player to get, this is the one. But they got about $86 Mil coming off the rolls so yes they need a couple of SP as well.

Tex is a good fit for the Yanks but they need to be careful not to sign too many players to extended contracts. They'll end up in this boat again with a bnunch of guys who go down hill at the same time.

Yanks need this position player. Then concentrate on pitchers like A.J.Burnett. Better to get
AL pitchers. Other openings are filled at low end or with trade. Need to start looking for a
young catcher to develop.

JC I feel fine, but my image certainly leaves something to be desired. Yes your preaching to the choir my friend on the long term problems with the yankees, only this guy is not on roids. As I was saying on another thread, if there is one position player they need, it's this guy, any great centerfielders out there? but PITCHING as in starters, must be their priority. Nice if they can get two, in late twenties, 200 + innings capable, under 4 era. I'm not asking for much am I?

Burnett has GREAT stuff- but
the Yanks should stay away from him.....
he's always hurt0 thisis the first year (a contract year)
that he has eben healthy- we've been burned by pitching
WAY too much the last 8 years.....we need a proven horse

I think all GM's should stay away from any client of Scott Boras.

I am hearing rumblings of nice numbers but kind of an ARod player, if you know what i mean. Two Arods in the same lineup would not be helpful.

WHAT???? The Yankees are involved in high priced talent. Since when did the Yankees get involved with players that will ask over $100 million.
