Why are there so many rumors about Manny? Has anyone considered that he just might stay with the Dodgers?

He's from Washington Heights which is not in Queens.

I thought Manny was from Washington Heights not Queens. Thats closer to the bronx or is in the bronx. But i think thats part of manhattan. I might be wrong. But Yea bring him to the Yankees as a full time DH. We need a big handed bat with Arod.

Northern tip of western Manhattan I believe, near the George Washington bridge.

Manny should be in court for his failure to perform his job as per his contract with the Red Sox. In any other line of work he would be getting sued...and rightfully so. The ridiculous money he earns contributes to kids not being able to go to the ballgames anymore because its too expensive. He's talented no doubt, but is also a disgrace. Any team that takes him will regret it very soon...give him 100 more games until he reverts to the bone head, bad teammate, selfish cancer he's always been.

More importantly, were the Indians even considering? Very very doubtful. I know a couple of seasons ago there were some superficial talks in amongst the Tribe about Manny if they could make the right arrangements with the Redsox for share his salary. But as a straight out free agent? Nope! And I think I speak for other Tribe fans when I say I would actually be disappointed if they did sign him. This young outfield looks exciting.
