Vandy QB situation unclear
Vanderbilt Coach Bobby Johnson remained noncommittal Wednesday about who would be starting at quarterback for Saturday's Southeastern Conference game at Mississippi State. Senior Chris Nickson has started every game this season but went out of Saturday's game against Auburn after aggravating a shoulder injury. Junior Mackenzi Adams replaced him and led both scoring drives against the Tigers to rally the Commodores to a 14-13 win. Nickson split snaps with Adams at practice on Wednesday and showed no signs of pain in his shoulder. Johnson said Nickson looked good but added the team was still evaluating the position.

Go with Nickson despite of what Adams did. If Nickson struggles early then pull him.
Can't believe Vandy is one win away from being bowl eligible.

yet again, vandy' needs to start Larry Smith, with their remaining sechedule they have a legit shot of going 2-5 or 3-4 maybe, so why not start a redshirt-freshman with more talent and athletic ability than both Nickson and Smith combined. he is plenty capable of getting the job done against mississippi st. and duke.

Once again you prove yourself an idiot, why start a red-shirt freshmen with no game experience over two seasoned seniors? You must be a gamecocks fan the way you like to yank QBs.

read the article dumba*s one rs senior, one rs junior, and yes they should start Larry Smith seeing as how Vandy' will end up finishing 7-5 or 8-4 if they are lucky. if you're osu loving a*s knows anything about the SEC then it would make the most since based upon who's left on the sechedule. wins (mississippi st., duke) losses (georgia, florida, tennessee, kentucky, and wake forest) tell me Vandy' beats those teams. hey they go to a bowl, have a winning season, and get one hell of a jump start on next season with Smith. by the way IDIOT I'm a gator, because the screen name sethgator screamed gamecock. dumda*s

Go with Nickson as planned...his athletic ability will get them yards. If it doesn't, go to the Pocket Passer. Nickson's speed stretches out the linebackers though - they will spy him, I bet.
