Vanderbilt changing quarterbacks

Mackenzi Adams has come off the bench and given Vanderbilt's offense a lift in each of the Commodores' past three games. The junior quarterback will have an opportunity to provide that spark from the start this weekend. Coach Bobby Johnson announced Monday during his weekly news conference that Adams will start Saturday at Georgia. Adams, whose first collegiate start came in Vanderbilt's seventh game last season and resulted in a 17-6 victory at then-No. 6 South Carolina, has completed 21 of 37 passes for 231 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception through the 22nd-ranked Commodores' 5-1 start. Nickson, who was sidelined with a shoulder injury last fall, has become decreasingly effective as the season progressed ??? completing just 12 of 25 passes for 59 yards in his past three starts, with one touchdown and two interceptions. The situation came to a head Saturday in a 17-14 loss at Mississippi State. Nickson was just 3-of-10 for 15 yards along with 7 rushing yards on 12 carries.

Try what ever you want, but your not playing in the BCS, so your just eating the left overs! Or, school honor at any-rate.

Their record and ranking before this week was just a matter of weack scheduling in a declining conference, and doing a good job scraping by in the close games (not that that doesn't count as a win as much as a blow out does). They never should have been considered a top 20 team. Nickson would have been fine in his spot if not for the undeserved spotlight on the team.

Hey Mackenzi, that's a girl's name!

He got most of the snaps for the Dores last year, so he has UGA experience.
