South Carolina and North Carolina State are trying to lure Baldwin linebacker Corico Hawkins, the state's only player committed to Clemson. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Hawkins said the two schools contacted him after Tommy Bowden stepped down as Clemson's coach on Monday. While Hawkins said he appreciated the interest, he said he is sticking by his commitment to the Tigers.

A player that is going to stick to his word. Shocking

Go to USC or N.C. State and you too can live in the land of mediocrity!

AppStateGrad04, great point. Who would want to go to a Div. 1A school and graduate from a well known university? I mean App State is the king of Western North Carolina, right up with Eric Rudolph! Congrats. Anyone who cannot get into any other NC state school goes to App or Western.

MR. Hawkins, you are a man of your word, that is a great thing. Thank you. jerry

Carolina Grad, go blow it out your ****. 3 national championships in a row and beating a #5 ranked Michigan who later went on to embarrass Florida says it all. Putting down App is going to do nothing to improve the pathetic postition of the puppy pack or the game chickens.

App State is for losers that don't possess enough skill to make it at a real school... The students are largely insignificant and have not made a substantial contribution to any field. And as far as the UM win last year... that does not seem as impressive after the UM decline and loss to Toledo.

Doc, this is FanNation, you don't need to sugar-coat your opinions for us. Please, tell us how you REALLY feel.

LSU will probably get their a_s_ses handed to them again tonight.

But please, God Allmighty, let me see @ least 1 good Spurrier sideline fit whilst I dilute my beer w/ tears.

I'm not bagging on App State achievements but they are not "real" National Championships, Div. 1AA. And a really bad Michigan team. You act like you are personally part of the teams victories.
