Aggies land coveted power forward
The men's basketball team has landed its fourth verbal commitment for its 2009 recruiting class -- Ray Turner, a 6-foot, 8-inch, 220-pound power forward from Houston Jones. Turner, who as a junior averaged 16 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game, picked the Aggies over Oklahoma State, Missouri, Baylor, Nebraska and Marquette. He's ranked as the No. 7 prospect in Texas by the Texashoops.com, and the 144th national prospect by Rivals.com.
