Vince not happy with Pacman

Vince Young was not laughing as he addressed the felony coercion charges against teammate Pacman Jones, who is serving a yearlong NFL suspension for conduct detrimental to the league on multiple occasions. "We want him to know these guys over here, we love him a whole lot, but we feel like he don't care about us right now," Young said. "At the same time, that's his issue. He has got to take care of his problem. We want him back here, to come back over here playing and making plays because he does a whole lot for our team, but as a team we are feeling like, 'Man, does he care about us over here?' "

Keep up your love for the game, Vince.

It's refreshing, these days ...

Go Vince. What is lost in all the Pacman talk is the fact that his behavior is a slap in the face to his teammates. On the field he is a difference maker, and his choices have left his team with a large void. The Titans may be playoff bound this year, and the difference between a playoff spot and watching it on TV may be one punt return or one pass defended/intercepted that they won't get because of the hole in the line-up..

I have followed Vince Youns career since he was at Texas (Hook 'em Horns) and for him to say what he did shows great leadership skills. He may not be the best passer, bu with his great leadership abilities on and off the field he is destined to be a HOF Quarterback.

This is great to see. I just became a Vince fan for sure. It's about time players start speaking out against all who are giving the league a black eye instead of supporting them. (Portis, Samuels) Maybe if more players and coaches would step up things may be different in the NFL.

June 22, 2007  08:39 AM ET

doesn't really matter anyways cause Pac won't be back with the Titans after this latest incident.

June 22, 2007  08:40 AM ET

He shouldn't be back with anybody let alone the Titans. He should be looking for a real job...hey, I know what he can do, since he likes strip joints so much he can get hired as a bouncer at one of them.

June 22, 2007  08:57 AM ET

I wonder who wrote that for Vince. having met him at more than one fan event, He never seemed capable of stringing together that many words.

June 22, 2007  09:17 AM ET

Good for vince

June 22, 2007  09:22 AM ET

BAMF?

June 22, 2007  09:30 AM ET

CHAZ0717- You are Stupid. Plain and simple......Stupid. You are pissed because Houston Sucks, Houston passed on VY, and your upset about getting a back up QB. Don't worry.....Texas is good with The Cowboys. We are tired of having the Texans make Texas look bad.

June 22, 2007  09:36 AM ET

VY will be one of the greatest players ever. He might not make perfect throws or complete every pass....But, there is no other person that I would want to have when the game is on the line. He makes the Titans a Contender when they should only be a 3-13 team.

Do you honestly believe that Leinart would have lead the Titans to a better record?

But anyway.....PAC is a Chump! He wont play anymore in the league. He will get shot in ATL....and he doesn't care. The only thing people can say in his Defense is that "Pac has always been questioned by the Police." He thinks that's normal.....Are you kidding me? He let down his team, the fans, and himself. Stay with your boys! Have a great time working at McDonalds!

June 22, 2007  09:43 AM ET

Normally I dont resond to people who post to me off topic, but in this case..whatever you tea sipping pansy. Climb down off the guys nuts. Have you met him? doubt it. I'm pretty sure he didnt make an appearance in your arse, where your head is firmly planted. Yes my team is struggling. Anyone who thought they would have sucess at the stage is A) retarded b) from out of town C) a Cowboys fan or d) all of the above. Now get back to the barracks, I'm pretty sure it's your day to spit shine Prince Harry's royal "rifle". I'm done with you now, you marmite miner.

June 22, 2007  09:45 AM ET

Vince Young is a racist.

Wait...what?

June 22, 2007  09:47 AM ET

Moon...or should I say cdadoe...what have you done with the real MoonDizzle????

June 22, 2007  09:48 AM ET

Huh.

June 22, 2007  09:50 AM ET

Actually I'm in the USAF. If you have a problem with that let me know. It's been more than just a couple of Developemental years.....Its time to actually win. Kubiak is tight, Green was a good pickup, RT/LT Jordan Black was nice, but you gotta start winning.

You met him at Events.....Do you know him? Who are you? Are you really that important? Get some Starting Caliber Safteys, LOLB, another DE to go with Mario Williams, another CB, LT, LG, and Another WR.....Then you can speak. Or just win 8 games.

Chaz, You are by far the bitter fan on this board. You hate on everyone because none of your teams in Houston are worth a crap!!! How did my name come up in that? What does the guy speech have to do with him being a leader. The guy has displayed awsome leadership and even better character throughout his entire career. He has said and done all of the right things besides all of the criticism and remained humble inspite of the praise. How can you bash the guy after taking a stand on the issue that is actually the best thing to say. Alot of high profile guys would have just passed on the issue, but he stepped up and challenged his teammate. That was just simple and childish. Thanks for showing that your a jerk, regardless of the situation.
